Nuno Raminhos apresenta um projeto individual marcado por um universo pictórico que se distingue pela conjugação de diversas linguagens visuais, nomeadamente a Banda Desenhada e a Pintura. Neste estilo de pintura foi onde o artista encontrou a melhor forma para pôr em prática toda a aprendizagem que adquiriu, tendo o processo evoluindo para outros estilos mais complexos sem nunca disfarçar as muitas inspirações desenhadas de forma não adulterada do estilo Comics.
Nuno Raminhos presents an individual project marked by a pictorial universe that is distinguished by the combination of several visual languages, namely the Comics and the painting. In this style of painting was where the artist found the best way to put into practice all the learning he has acquired, the process evolving into other more complex styles without ever disguising the many unadulterated inspirations of the comic itself.

Nasceu em 1971, em Vila Nova de Gaia. Licenciado em Pintura pela Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade do Porto (FBAUP), realiza exposições individuais e coletivas, desde 1999, em diversas galerias nacionais e internacionais. As obras de Nuno Raminhos são fortemente influenciadas pela Pop Art e desenhos animados clássicos. Seus personagens evocam memórias de histórias em quadrinhos, às vezes deslocadas de seu contexto original. Cores fortes, contornos nítidos e uma pintura limpa que faz parecer que foi impressa..
Born in 1971, in Vila Nova de Gaia. Graduated in Painting by the University of Fine Arts of Porto (FBAUP), he has held individual and group exhibitions since 1999 in several national and international galleries. Nuno Raminhos' works are strongly influenced by Pop Art and classic cartoons. His characters evoke memories of cartoon stories, sometimes moved out of their original context. Strong colors, sharp outlines and a clean painting that makes it look like it was printed.
