Sobre um caos disfarçado de escolha, emerge a dança silenciosa entre o destino e a vontade humana. Um jogo imprevisível, onde o tambor do revólver gira como os ponteiros de um relógio que podem parar a qualquer instante, decidindo sem lógica, sem moral e sem justiça o destino imediato do jogador. Na exposição Reload, Valentim Quaresma explora o reflexo extremo da existência: o equilíbrio frágil entre o querer e o não saber, numa sociedade moderna dominada pela ilusão de controle.
Under a chaos disguised as choice, a silent dance emerges between destiny and human will. An unpredictable game, where the revolver's barrel spins like the hands of a clock that can stop at any moment, deciding the player's immediate fate without logic, morality or justice. In the exhibition Reload, Valentim Quaresma explores the extreme reflection of existence: the fragile balance between wanting and not knowing, in a modern society dominated by the illusion of control.

Valentim Quaresma estudou na escola de artes António Arroio e no departamento de joalharia da Ar.Co. A sua criatividade manifesta-se através da moda, arte e joalharia. As suas peças nascem de um processo de reaproveitamento de materiais (upcycling), resultando de uma visão onde o poder da matéria se confronta com a espiritualidade. Todas as suas experiências se refletem na sua arte e na sua moda, Em 2008 ganhou o prémio Accessories collection of the Year, na competição Internacional ITS#7, em Trieste (Itália). Atualmente, Valentim Quaresma integra o calendário oficial da ModaLisboa - Lisboa Fashion Weekk. Alchemy, título dado às suas propostas para o Outono/Inverno 2011, esteve em exibição no MUDE - Museu do Design e da Moda.
Valentim Quaresma studied at the António Arroio School of Arts and at the Ar.Co Jewellery Department. His creativity is expressed through fashion, art and jewellery. His pieces are born from a process of reusing materials (upcycling), resulting from a vision where the power of matter meets spirituality. All of his experiences are reflected in his art and fashion. In 2008, he won the Accessories Collection of the Year award at the ITS#7 International competition in Trieste (Italy). Valentim Quaresma is currently part of the official calendar of ModaLisboa - Lisbon Fashion Week. Alchemy, the title given to his proposals for Autumn/Winter 2011, was on display at MUDE - Museum of Design and Fashion.
