Neste conjunto de trabalhos, Duma apresenta-nos as suas já conhecidas personagens femininas e anónimas, dentro de um contexto do claro / escuro, Yin / Yang, onde a luz existe na escuridão e a escuridão na luz. Tudo toma forma através da luz e das sombras. Uma não existe sem a outra e as próprias personagens de Duma são construídas com gradações bem definidas de luz e sombra.
In this set of artworks, Duma introduces us to his already well-known female and anonymous characters, within a context of the light / dark, Yin / Yang, where light exists in darkness and darkness in light. Everything takes shape through light and shadows. One does not exist without the other and the Duma's own characters are built with well-defined gradations of light and shadow.

Gosto de retratar o feminino porque, em última análise, é um reflexo de mim própria.
Cada tela tem algo de mim, mas não só, representa várias características não só femininas, mas de toda a humanidade em geral. No entanto e principalmente, têm muito a ver com o meu mundo interior.
I like to portray the feminine because, ultimately, it's a reflection of myself. Each canvas has something of me, but not only, it represents several characteristics not only female, but of all humanity in general. However, and mostly, they have a lot to do with my inner world.
